The Criminal Justice sector
Explore the Stars available for the criminal justice sector
The focus of services in this sector is often around recidivism and supporting people to live a crime-free life.
A large part of this sector is linked to the Ministry of Justice and the National Offender Management Service (NOMS), including the prison service, probation service and HM Courts Service. In addition there are many voluntary sector organisations supporting ex-offenders and a growing number of peer-led services. Although the Outcomes Star for homelessness has been widely used across this sector for some time, Triangle have recently worked directly with services to create a Star that specifically meets the needs of this sector.
The Change Star is designed for use with men who are participating in a behaviour change programme or other service for perpetrators of domestic abuse
The Justice Star has been designed for use specifically with adults on short sentences, approaching release from long sentences or in the community.
Recovery Star Secure
Triangle recommend that adults with long custodial sentences still to serve, the Recovery Star Secure is more suited to their needs and to the type of support that services in this setting provide.
Victim of Crime Star
This version of the Outcomes Star is for people who have been victims of any type of crime and need support with dealing with the emotional and practical repercussions of crime as they navigate through the criminal justice or legal systems.
