The Outcomes Star™ in supervision and team meetings
The Star can be a helpful tool in team-meeting and supervision. It can:
- Enable a supervisor to take a quick overview of the caseload of the worker they are supervising. Is it time some of their clients moved out of the service? Have some reached a plateau and need a different approach? Are there a disproportionate number with multiple issues or at the not-engaging stage?
- Provide an initial overview of a service user and their progress prior to a discussion of how to support them moving forward – either in a team-meeting or a supervision context.
- Help workers decide whether the service is suitable for a particular client.
