The Department of Health will be funding Triangle partner the Mental Health Providers Forum to promote the Mental Health Recovery Star in five of the ten strategic health authorities nationally. The work will be led by MHPF’s new Recovery Star lead Yetunde Onifade.

The Mental Health Providers Forum has also recently published a report of its work exploring the use of the Recovery Star with ethnic minority groups. The project found that the Recovery Star worked well with different ethnic groups and made recommendations for minor changes to wording. In addition visual resources have been developed for people with English as a second language.
