Children's Star™

An Outcomes Star™ for children

Development is starting in February 2012 on an Outcomes Star for Children. Initial collaborators are Family Action, Action for Children and Coram, with part-funding through the Growing Our Strengths programme. 

Because the Outcomes Stars are client-centred rather than service focused, our aim is to develop a tool that is meaningful for work with children both in vulnerable families and looked after children, and could travel with children who move from one to the other.

This Star development is so far supported only to the pilot stage;  all versions of the Outcomes Star rely on collaborators to provide expertise, time and funding and we need further collaborators to complete the Children's Star. Collaboration is an opportunity to influence the development and collaborators will have access to this tool at the pilot stage - significantly ahead of publication as a sector resource - in addition to full acknowledgement.
